Assumption vote

In engineering terms, assumption is the mother of all screw-ups. To assume your candidate will win without your vote almost insures they will lose.

In tight races people get out and vote, however if there is a significant point spread chances are the thought of not voting comes to mind. It does not matter what country you are in, as this is a common mistake.

If you are a guy and spot a drop dead beautiful woman, chances are you would assume she is taken because she is just too hot to pass up. Because of that you would not even think about approaching her, and so does everyone else. As a result she will probably have a very lonely life being single.

The rule assumption is the mother of all screw-ups is universal, the days you come home and discovered there is no dinner because each assumed the other would take care of it. The missing document or the unbooked flight, the list is endless.

This year the vote for the next American President is not only for the United States, it is for the survival of the planet and very possibly mankind. Seeing is that only United States citizens can vote, the rest of the world is counting on their vote. For each American who votes for President, there are 22 people worldwide who can not. What that means is there is a responsibility each voter has that is more significant this election time than ever before. There are 22 people who can’t vote who are counting on American voters to do the right thing. The condition of the planet and the global economy are now major issues, and the next President of the United States will have a lot to do with that. What happens next will be felt long after the next President has left office.

VOTE!
