  • 2014 review and influential dots

Posted on December 30, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

2014 has been a year that has opened the eyes of many, and at the same time made us think of where the world is heading if you connect the dots of the past years. Unfortunately there is much more negative than there is positive, and it seems the influence of negatives has caused people to wake up and take notice in less than passive ways. • Who reads Connecting the Dots

Posted on June 16, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

We normally do not like to blow our own horn, but in this case it was more of self curiosity as to where are readers have come from since we started in April 2008. Fortunately our hosting service keeps a nice tidy record of who what where and when. We were surprised at what we discovered, and how trends influence readers to visit. • Welcome to 2014 a time of self reflection

Posted on January 1, 2014 12:14 am by Richard

Connecting the Dots likes to provide a hope of optimism at the start of each year. The way we like to present it is not in words, but in looking back at what we can do if we set our minds to it. There are so many wonderful things we can accomplish if we can eliminate conflict and greed. Unfortunately most of the people with the power to make these changes are afflicted with self serving desires, and only the ones that truly give of themselves selflessly are looked up to as role models and inspire others. • DNA and science correcting rewritten history

Posted on April 30, 2013 12:03 am by Richard

Some of us are aware that some people would like to rewrite history for self serving reasons. Who what where and when are often the targets of such rewrites that may lead to promote ethnic violence and intolerance of others. Often it is the people who are intolerant of others that are the primary culprits behind the history rewrites. But now with DNA and computers, all those lies and bent truths look to be corrected and the actual truth will be supported by science and not I said vs he said. Continue reading → Post ID 16023

Posted on April 26, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

It is hard to believe that what started off as an adventure in journalism has lasted so long and has evolved into what it has. So the time once again has come to reflect and to plot our path for the next year. Continue reading → Post ID 16023

  • Thaksin’s Royal succession posturing

Posted on January 15, 2013 12:03 am by Richard

On a topic nobody in Thailand wants to think about much less talk about, but succession to the Throne is unavoidably coming. So as we tend to not want to think about what will happen when that announcement is finally made that the wheels of succession have started to turn, we can’t help but look at how Thailand’s chief fugitive troublemaker is positioning himself. • Amateur drinking night

Posted on December 31, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

New Years Eve for many is a night of partying and drinking to excess. It is also a night of stupid mistakes and placing others in danger. It is the one night of the year that most people in the party mood will require some sort of babysitter to see that they do not find themselves on the Darwin Awards website.
