  • President Donald Trump and what to expect

Posted on November 30, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

    Trump crystal ball

Knowing what the world will be like with Donald Trump’s presidential influence is a question on the world’s mind. So as he has been showing what makes him tick, we are starting to see just how the dots are likely to connect during 2017.

  • Brexit – Be careful what you ask for!

Posted on November 2, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

It goes without saying the pending exit of Britain from the European Union is starting to resemble stepping into something organic at a farm with many animals. But this is just an example of people not thinking out clearly what would happen and listening to a few well-spoken people who had an agenda. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

  • Thailand greatly improved with Junta rule

Posted on June 26, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

The title of this entry can be a bit deceiving and easily seen as being pro-Junta. However the fact of the matter is the Government the Junta unseated was doing such a bad job, that most anyone who has a good level of competence and basic common sense could have done better than the pro-Thaksin Government they unseated. Posted on May 13, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

As Thailand’s political unrest continues, the financial pain continues to grow as Thailand’s economy moves from the plus to the minus column. This unfortunately plays into Thaksin’s hands as shortly after the 2006 coup, Thaksin announced he would squeeze Thailand into submissiveness by using this exact same method. Posted on March 18, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

With populist policies driving the popularity of the Pheu Thai Party (PTP) and more or less keeping them in power, there is a limit on just how much funding there is to make them happen. With huge financial bleeding getting harder and harder to ignore and seeing that some populist policies are unsustainable without Bankrupting Thailand, some serious discussions are going on about the ability of the PTP to be reelected into power if there is no money for populist policies. • Thailand sex industry boom predicted

Posted on January 17, 2013 12:01 am by Richard

    red-light-area-thailand

If you live in Thailand or simply know about Thailand, one of Thailand’s biggest unspoken commodities is its sex industry. With beautiful women everyplace you look and a good education system not being one of Thailand’s strong points, many women simply choose the sex industry to make money to provide for their family. The selflessness of Thai women in Thailand’s sex industry is one of the things that sets them apart from other women. But now as high unemployment looms as a result of nearly doubling the minimum wage in some places, working in the sex industry is the only fallback plan many have. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

  • Thailand wage driven recession starting

Posted on January 5, 2013 12:01 am by Richard

Perhaps the title of this entry is a reality check that is simply based on competitive pricing of basic goods. Or perhaps it is the Thai government forgetting why foreign companies came to Thailand to begin with. But no matter what the reason, the reality of wages that are not supported by the market value of good produced at any given company can only spell one thing, and that thing will likely consume any government in Thailand for ignoring the basic principles of economics. Posted on December 24, 2012 12:01 am by Richard

We don’t use typewriters that much anymore, nor do we rely completely on making phone calls with a phone that is hard wired to the phone network. We have moved on, evolved, stepped forward or however you want to put it. But unfortunately the United States Republican Party has failed to notice the world has changed from the days they came up with their no new taxes stance, and that without modifying their position for today’s world, they simply will become an endangered species.
