  • Sexual conflict and discrimination caused by religion

Posted on August 6, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

    Women Kissing

Many of today’s conflicts about sex are caused by religion. From issues with people from the LGBT community, to simply being in public with someone from the opposite sex, religious rules, laws and what have you simply pry their way into places they have no business going. In other words religion is teaching sexual discrimination. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

Posted on February 8, 2011 12:04 am by Richard

If you step way back you will see a disturbing pattern of events when the words Muslim and extremist are used in the same sentence. It does not matter what part of the world is being described, the news stories have a similar theme, and that is dead teachers and burned schools. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

If you think that is a political comment on Indonesia we are sorry to disappoint you. What we are talking about is some earth shaking concerns that people in Indonesia seem to ignore. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

  • More extreme Muslim behavior in news

Posted on September 27, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

It is a bit hard to say why Muslims forcing their religion onto people from other religions is in the news of late. It could be from any number of reasons stemming from more occurrences to simply being more news worthy. With the seemingly spontaneous violent and aggressive behavior of mobs citing Islam as their fuel, it becomes understandable why it may be news worthy. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

Posted on September 24, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

There is hardly a person that has not heard of the fallout from the almost burned Quran (Koran) in Florida. Riots, people dying and more in a variety of places. But this entry is not so much about that, this entry is about people’s reaction to seeing that type of behavior over something that never happened. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

  • Muslim religion proving anti Muslim views right

Posted on July 9, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

Most people in the world are laid back about religion and do not get too upset when other religions say and do things that drives that particular faith. But over the past 2 years or so the Muslim faith has infringed on non Muslims in less than passive ways, and all this tends to add fuel to the anti Muslim fire. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

  • We are not in control of our lives

Posted on June 30, 2010 12:03 am by Richard

Never mind democracy or any form of government. Forget about thinking we decide our life’s path. Forget all that we were ever taught about how we control our own destiny. The unfortunate reality is we are little more than a dandelion seed in the wind. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

Posted on January 25, 2010 12:01 am by Richard

An earthquake in Bangkok is something people try not to think about. But the fact is any earthquake bigger than a 5.2 in or around Bangkok will likely send Bangkok’s skyline to the ground. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

It is hard not to feel a sense of sadness when some act of nature brings an abrupt end to the lives of thousands of people. It is even sadder that some places tend to be in the bulls eye more often that others. Haiti is one of those places. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

  • Global warming point of no return

Posted on December 23, 2009 12:00 am by Richard

In some disaster movies there is an ingenious idiot that seems to bypass or disable some safety feature or failsafe causing a horrendous catastrophe. As with all good movies, they have their basis in reality, and in Copenhagen during the last chance climate summit we may have just seen that happen. Continue reading → Post ID 15746

  • Religious revolt

Posted on October 7, 2009 12:04 am by Richard

Long have past the days when news was delivered by courier or a stranger who may be passing through the village. Long have past the days where religion was a tool of power less one religion. Seeing that news can now travel in an instant to anyplace and everyplace, eyes are being opened and conclusions are being drawn by people who still live under the punishment whip. • Indonesia H5N1 hard hit or harder hit

Posted on August 13, 2008 12:01 am by Richard

There is no doubt Indonesia is the hardest hit country when it comes to the bird flu. When it comes to cooperation and sharing information and samples, Indonesia is somewhat resistant. This does leave people suspicious if they are hiding anything, particularly when they make announcements like the following. Continue reading → Post ID 15746
