In Thailand The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) has been instrumental thus far in keeping the light on Thailand’s ruling party the People power Party (PPP), and the PPP does not like that one bit. At least from the outside and for the moment the PPP has seemed to back away from some of the controversial things it has done and clearly still wants to do. Continue reading Post ID 89

Hot water Cold feet
Thailand’s Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej said on Sunday June 15 that he is not afraid of a censure debate but the debate could not be allowed to be held during the current extra-ordinary session of Parliament. However according to the leader of the democratic party, there is plenty of time. Continue reading Post ID 89

Thailand’s Constitutional wisdom
As each day passes, Thailand’s ruling party The People Power Party (PPP) discoverers another sharp tooth the hard way in the new constitution that is designed to keep bad boy politicians in line. When the constitution was drafted and adopted in 2007, it was done so with long reaching wisdom to insure political stability and to deal with corruption. The PPP is demonstrating their arrogance and will ultimately fall unless they change their ways and soon. Continue reading Post ID 89

Thailand’s government attacks freedom
The puppet government of Thaksin Shinawatra is making a major attack on freedom in Thailand. The government has announced they will arrest broadcasters who air the anti government rallies of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) occurring in Bangkok. The new constitution makes the airing 100% legal, but Thailand’s ruling party the People Power Party (PPP) will have no part of exposing their misdoing to their voter base in northeast Thailand with a nation wide broadcast. Thailand Braces for energy cost fallout
Although Thailand’s government does it’s best to be an island free from global market currents and changes, the tide is rising to levels never seen before. The cost of energy is rising too fast to be assimilated by the economy. Seemingly everyone in Thailand is being effected and there are no easy answers. Thailand is a place where a person can go to purchase inexpensive goods. It appears that may be coming to an end. Continue reading Post ID 89

Thailand’s government under pressure from all sides
Thailand’s ruling party The People Power Party (PPP) is under increasing pressure to do the work it was elected to do. Up until now, the PPP has seemingly been actively doing things to serve just one person named Thaksin Shinawatra with very little if any work for the Thai people. Continue reading Post ID 89

It’s all their fault
Thailand’s government is doing its best to spread propaganda that all the problems in Thailand are the fault of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD). Unfortunately for Thailand’s government they seemed to have forgotten one thing, remarks like that must first have some degree of believability. Continue reading Post ID 89

Burma’s junta angry at international media
For some reason Burma’s junta seems to think the free press will not call it like it is. While Burma’s junta was busy keeping help out, people continued to needlessly die of secondary reasons. Accusations of fake footage harming Burma’s image, only outline the audacity of this ill bunch. Continue reading Post ID 89

Thailand’s government is self destructing
The internal workings of the Thai government are in far worse shape than is generally known by the public. The People Power Party (PPP) and it’s coalition of other parties are at best a dysfunctional family. The Democratic party seems to be the only stable part of the Thai government. With phrases like ‘dissolving parliament’ and ‘military coup’ being heard more frequently, one has to understand that this is just the tip of the iceberg that the public sees. Thailand’s Government Blinks
Thailand’s People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) is starting to show it’s strength as the Thaksin Regime otherwise known as the People power Party (PPP) steps back from it’s threat to forcibly remove the PAD protesters Saturday. With the law and court rulings on the side of the PAD, removing them by force would just open up another can of worms for the government. Continue reading Post ID 89
