Modern day Witch hunts

In America today there are active Witch hunts going on. However the witch hunts are not carried out by cults, in fact they are carried out by people who we have been taught to respect. These hunts are no less critical than the Witch hunts of the past in Salem Massachusetts with the end result of people losing their lives. [Read more →]

American Can’t Do!

The once proud phrase “American Can Do” and know how has now been replaced with “America Can’t Do” and have not a clue how to do it if you choose to listen to the Bush administration when it comes to making the right choices about global warming. It would appear countries who do not have the same vast resources as the United States can do what this administration says it can’t. [Read more →]

Philippines repeats tragedies

In a long list of tragedies in the Philippines that have claimed human lives, many are the same exact tragedies of the past. It almost seems people in the Philippines fail to learn from past human errors. The sinking of ferry boats during Typhoons and the loss of life can be found in Philippine headlines of the past on numerous occasions. [Read more →]

Thaksin Shinawatra love him or hate him Part 3

The last thing Thaksin did before he left for New York in September 2006 was to give orders putting the military under his complete control. This was to be done by placing loyal Thaksin supporters in key posts, and anti Thaksin people in inactive posts. The PAD rally was getting stronger and rumors of thousands of armed Thaksin supporters planning an attack on the PAD rally was the reality of September 18, 2006 in Bangkok. [Read more →]

Thaksin Shinawatra love him or hate him Part 1

There is simply no grey area when it comes to Thaksin Shinawatra, people either love him or hate him. It is this love hate feeling about this want to be dictator that is causing the political problems in Thailand. Even that Thaksin has been removed from the political landscape, he is still the cause of today’s political turmoil in Thailand. [Read more →]

Thailand’s government attacks freedom

The puppet government of Thaksin Shinawatra is making a major attack on freedom in Thailand. The government has announced they will arrest broadcasters who air the anti government rallies of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) occurring in Bangkok. The new constitution makes the airing 100% legal, but Thailand’s ruling party the People Power Party (PPP) will have no part of exposing their misdoing to their voter base in northeast Thailand with a nation wide broadcast. Burma’s junta angry at international media

For some reason Burma’s junta seems to think the free press will not call it like it is. While Burma’s junta was busy keeping help out, people continued to needlessly die of secondary reasons. Accusations of fake footage harming Burma’s image, only outline the audacity of this ill bunch. [Read more →]

Children of the Dead

They walk aimlessly scared, in shock and hungry. Nature and Burma’s junta have provided a fresh crop of young children in Burma ready to be exploited in every imaginable way. [Read more →]

Burma’s junta angers the world

What the junta in Burma is doing to the people who suffered the brunt of the May 2 cyclone can only be described as inhumane. Animals in the USA are treated with better respect and caring than the people of Burma. Telling the people in the delta to go and eat frogs to survive says a lot. [Read more →]

Thailand escalating battle with Thaksin

Thaksin once again employs his dirty underhand work to fight the Thais who truly have Thailand’s best interest in mind. The events of the last 48 hours are remarkably similar to events just before the 2006 coup. Failure of the police to protect peaceful protesters from Thaksin’s paid thugs is just the start. Blood in the streets is not that far away. [Read more →]

Getting dirty with Burma

Associating with Burma’s junta can make you dirty by association. If a country wants to take sides with Burma, it can only hurt that countries appearance in the remainder of the civilized world. The same is true with a person or a company. One could argue that this is just politics, but when countless people die from either action or lack of action by Burma’s junta it becomes a simple no brainer of right from wrong. [Read more →]

Burma’s deliberate misery

With the suggested death toll flirting with a six digit figure from a Cyclone that ravaged parts of that country, it becomes hard to not take notice of the problems in Burma. Burma’s junta has once again polarized itself from what is right and wrong even on a humanitarian level by delaying visas of the people that want to help. With each minute that help is being deliberately delayed by the junta, more people suffer needlessly. The delay has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with some fear the junta has. The before and after satellite photos tell of the true magnitude of this catastrophe. As the situation is continuing to unfold, what is said today could very well be different tomorrow. [Read more →]
