  • Thaksin news drought suggests major damage control

Posted on August 21, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

It is not uncommon for the convicted fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra to disappear for a few days or a few weeks at a time when things do not go his way. You can call it imagination or a gut feeling, but somehow this disappearance seems different. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

  • Sour grapes on BlackBerry

Posted on August 7, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

If there was ever a conflict with technology and a government, we may be looking at it with the BlackBerry. Although this seems to be raising feathers around the world, the fact is no government including the US is completely comfortable when it can not sneak a peak into people’s private affairs. • Thaksin’s score Part 3

Posted on July 23, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

As the Thaksin on the run saga continues and he wears out his welcome country after country, his world is getting smaller and smaller. It would seem that countries that have a low number Thaksin is banned from entry. The ones he manages to sneak into quickly toss him out or encourage him to leave by not allowing him to launch political attacks from their soil. Sooner or later he may end up in Haiti as they could use his money big time. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

Posted on July 22, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

So as Thaksin’s globe hopping continues, you begin to see some interesting patterns shaping up. He has no place he can call home, and where he stays he is constantly looking over his shoulder as well as having a huge negative cash flow to buy that stay out of jail insurance. Posted on July 21, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

If you decided to keep score on the convicted fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra and who he associates with, it becomes an interesting reflection of what his world is like today. But no matter how you look at it, this is a fun read that cuts past his attempted self image. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

  • Thaksin unhappy with events

Posted on March 27, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

Perhaps the word unhappy is a significant understatement in describing Thaksin’s mood. The nice guy approach and Thaksin simply are not found in the same sentence very often if at all. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

Posted on March 11, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

All the red flags are showing in Thailand. Thaksin has his back against the wall and the clock will not grant him any more extensions. So what has been predicted looks to be an absolute certainty. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

  • Planned spontaneous violence

Posted on February 24, 2010 12:01 am by Richard

In what looks to be an opportunity to riot, Thaksin’s Red Shirts will gather outside the court house in what is being called anything but a rally. The reason is very clear to the Red Shirt leaders, and that reason being treason and a possible death sentence if there is any hint of an organized mob that erupts into violence. Posted on January 19, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

Taking a look at the big picture for convicted fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra, it has the smell of problems based on circumstances with some being beyond his control. In this case it may be live by the sword and die by the sword A.K.A. money. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

  • Thaksin seeks to undo 2007 national charter vote

Posted on October 14, 2009 12:01 am by Richard

In classic Thaksin arrogance, Thaksin has set out to ignore the collective will of the Thai people and to undo the August 2007 vote to accept or reject the proposed new Constitution. Because the vote did not go the way Thaksin wanted, it is clear that classic Thaksin behavior is still alive and well. Continue reading → Post ID 9988

Posted on August 21, 2009 12:00 am by Richard
