  • Thailand’s anti-corruption pro-corruption battle

Posted on April 3, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

When you strip away the names and personalities from Thailand’s political unrest, you are simply left with the un-flavored reality of what the unrest is all about. It all comes down to corruption bleeding away tax revenues that result in Thailand and the Thai people never having the money needed to get ahead. Continue reading → Post ID 14917

  • Thai Government murder charges comparison

Posted on February 28, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

It seems both the present Thai Government and the previous Thai Government are facing nearly identical murder charges for deaths during protest dispersal. There is one significant difference and that is one action was court endorsed, and the other went against a court ruling. Continue reading → Post ID 14917

Posted on February 19, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

After Thaksin’s private Coup attempt was ended by the Thai Military, things got more or less quiet for the rest of 2009. But there were still personal attacks on people that did not support Thaksin in the parts of Thailand that had significant Red Shirt populations. Continue reading → Post ID 14917

  • Thailand’s political woes metaphorically speaking

Posted on January 31, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

For people that wish to quickly understand Thailand’s political problems, using metaphors is the fastest way to get up to speed. Once a person can grasp the concept of the key issues with metaphors, the rest becomes much easier to understand. Continue reading → Post ID 14917

  • Thaksin vs Suthep

Posted on December 20, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

For what it is worth, it seems Suthep Thaugsuban has become target number one for Thaksin Shinawatra. When you look at the news and see the ever growing list of charges against Suthep, you can’t help but have two emotions hit you at the same time. One emotion makes you want to smile and roll your eyes because the charges are such a stretch and obviously frivolous. The second emotion is anger because Thaksin has not acknowledged he is the problem and not Suthep. Continue reading → Post ID 14917

  • Thai Government rejects Thai Constitution

Posted on November 27, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

When a person gets angry they always end up losing out in the end. That is why there is such a thing as anger management counseling to teach people how to manage their anger. But in this case The Phu Thai Party (PTP) anger comes from Thaksin who is the puppet master for them. Continue reading → Post ID 14917
