  • Effective methods against Thaksin Shinawatra

Posted on May 27, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

Over the past three years, Thaksin Shinawatra has inadvertently shown people how to keep him away from Thai politics and minimize or eliminate his influence in Thailand. Until now it was only guesswork, but now Thaksin has shown his hand and there is little doubt left as to how to neutralize him. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Thaksin’s apparent discontent with King’s involvement

Posted on May 1, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

As predictable as a splash when a stone hits water, Thaksin through his Pheu Thai Party (PTP) started attacks on the man who would approach the King as soon as the potential contact was announced. Knowing Thaksin would react this way was easy to predict, as it is the one thing Thaksin least wants. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Red Shirts attack on Monk despicable

Posted on March 27, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

Red Shirts assaulting MonkIt would appear all respect for Monks is now beyond the ability of the Red Shirts. To attack a monk simply because he wished to pass is about as un-Thai as you can get as Thai hierarchy is completely ignored. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • The political educating of rural Thailand

Posted on March 7, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

Thai FarmerIt was not that long ago that the people of rural northeast Thailand felt that the political happenings in Bangkok were worlds away and really made no difference in their simple but poor lifestyle. That was then, but now those simple but poor Thai people have learned the hard way of what happens when you embrace highly corrupt politicians as saviors. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Thai Red Shirt frenzy overstepping

Posted on March 5, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

In Thailand the Red Shirts have a fairly bad record when it comes to staying inside the law as well as ethical behavior. From time to time the mob mentality gets the best of them and they end up breaking major laws. Some of the laws that they break even come with the death penalty, and that seems to be the case once again. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Thai Military’s position amidst political turmoil

Posted on February 7, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

    Thai Tank

It is obvious both sides of the political battle in Thailand are concerned where the military stands. After all, they do have the power to bring this conflict to an end if they so decide. The military has been doing it’s best to not get involved, but there are subtle signs as to what side they would pick if things turn particularly nasty. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Thaksin’s clock running out

Posted on February 4, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

There is a new player in the game against Thaksin and his massively corrupt regime, and it is clearly not on Thaksin’s side. The new player is the clock, and when it runs out, it most likely will signal the end of this round. We say this round because Thaksin will continue to try again and again until he draws his last breath. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

Posted on January 23, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

With the numbers simply not there to create a new Thai Government in the potential February 2 elections, one has to think like Thaksin to understand his logic. He is simply thinking that many times if not always it takes more than one hit of a hammer to drive a nail. It is clear Thaksin is hoping for a second election to top off Parliament’s head count. • Spanking Thaksin

Posted on January 16, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

There was a time when Thaksin Shinawatra could seemingly get away with everything in court. Every challenge to him in court went his way causing people to roll their eyes wondering why the court ruled against common sense and obvious conclusions. That was then, but those days seem to be gone thanks to sound advise and guidance given to the high court judges by the King. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Anti Thaksin protesters invoking Government eviction section of Constitution

Posted on December 11, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

In what seems to be an emergency reset section of the 2007 Thai Constitution, the anti Thaksin protesters seem to have the Constitution on their side. However as this section of the Constitution has never been tested, there are scholars and professionals on both sides of the yes you can and no you can’t argument. But when you step back and look at the big picture about Thaksin and his massive corruption, people just naturally want to give it a go and hope it works. That is except for Thaksin and his beneficiaries of corruption. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

Posted on August 14, 2013 12:01 am by Richard

When you look at most Governments they have now come to learn to respect the power of social media. For the Governments that are for the most part honest and transparent, their fear is minimal. But for Governments that are not doing what is in the best interest of the people they serve, you may notice a wet spot in their pants that has nothing at all to do with sex when social media starts after them. When you read in the news all the posturing being taken by the Pro Thaksin Government to hinder protests and gatherings that oppose their agenda, you don’t have to stop and wonder who’s signature behavior that is. So common sense stands to reason, if what they want is that confrontational, why push for it. The answer comes down to one name, Thaksin Shinawatra. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • Thai political normalcy just an illusion

Posted on February 18, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

There has been a suggestion in the news that the political turmoil in Thailand is finally over. Investors are starting to return, street protests have ended along with several other indicators that are used to measure the political climate showing a calm. However when looking at cause and effect, we see just one thing. That one thing is Thaksin Shinawatra has been keeping a very low profile. Once he reappears, the political storm will renew as if it never ended. Continue reading → Post ID 15005

  • How Thaksin Shinawatra made his enemies

Posted on February 4, 2013 12:03 am by Richard

There is no shortage of people that dislike Thaksin Shinawatra. In fact to make half of a country that has a population over 60 Million his enemy is no simple task when you consider no one thing Thaksin did made that happen. It was his continued daily arrogance and disregard for other people that eventually gathered the masses against him. Continue reading → Post ID 15005
