It takes strong effort on the part of the people to remove a bad Government. We have seen a variety of examples in what is called The Arab Spring with some examples going better than others. Whether this is the true beginning of a Thai Spring is yet to be established, but the goals remain the same in that a Government is a servant of the people, and not the other way around. Thailand’s political pendulum starting to reverse
For the last several weeks the popularity of the Bring Thaksin Home Government was/is starting to slip. Normally this cycle is part of all Governments that are elected, but in this case there is a sense of desperation by the fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra to whitewash himself before his government popularity slips below the waves.
