    Trump crystal ball

Knowing what the world will be like with Donald Trump’s presidential influence is a question on the world’s mind. So as he has been showing what makes him tick, we are starting to see just how the dots are likely to connect during 2017.

  • Connecting the Dots on the true Islam

Posted on December 9, 2015 12:02 am by Richard

For the most part, many people don’t take the time to dig into things and are content with sound bites that can easily be taken out of context. We hear about ISIS and other groups in the news almost daily, and we hear words like extremists, terrorist and a few other words that have become synonymous with those groups. But the other side of the coin is those words may not be entirely accurate if you look at the entire context. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

    Ebola Virus

It does not take much more than common sense to see the US Government along with a few other countries are playing down the risks of Ebola and that they could contain an outbreak. Recent events in history say otherwise along with a significant percentage of health care workers tending to Ebola patients have contracted the virus despite being wrapped head to toe in protective gear. • Thai Election Commission withholding elections

Posted on February 6, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

Thailand’s Election Commission (EC) has made it loud and clear that the elections will not continue until disputes between the Thaksin proxy Government and the Anti-Thaksin protesters are resolved. This new twist may force Thaksin out of power as it looks to become a test of wills. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

Posted on January 27, 2011 12:02 am by Richard

With a full blow war going on in Mexico at the border between police, military and the drug traffickers, you have to wonder what is the driving force that has cost thousands of lives. The answer is America’s drug addiction, and it only looks to be getting worse. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

  • Fighting to undo

Posted on December 23, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

Before all the partisan bickering got under a full head of steam in the US Congress, there was compromise and a general forward movement. Rarely if at all was there an effort to go backwards unless the legislation was a total failure such as prohibition. But now legislation that has significant good qualities looks to be undone because the spirit of compromise has been lost. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

Posted on November 8, 2010 12:03 am by Richard

Every time there is a disaster on the planet, people who have the means to help out find it in their hearts to help out in whatever way they can. When those occasional disasters like an earthquake or flood happen, their hearts simply say it is the right thing to do. What this entry talks about is what will happen when those occasional disasters become regular. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

Posted on August 20, 2010 12:01 am by Richard

The power of the Blog is a growing strength in the war against criminals who wish to go unnoticed. This is not without risk to the bloggers, and that is why the bloggers that shine their light in dark places prefer to keep their identity secret. Now the Mexican drug lords have told the media to be silent or die, and that is no idle threat. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

Posted on August 10, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

There is simply no other way to described this, but nearly 23000 deaths in 3 years is madness. Because of that, the Mexican drug war simply can no longer be ignored and labeled a local conflict as the number of deaths simply puts it on the global map. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

So messing with the level of corruption in Thailand is a bit like sawing off a chair leg. Sitting in the chair offers an experience that is not what was intended. The chair becomes for the most part unusable and is replaced with another of any style. Continue reading → Post ID 15998

Once you come to learn how corruption in Thailand seems to make things just a little nicer to the end user being tourist and others wanting to get things done, you start to wonder about the wisdom of cleaning it up. There clearly is a trade off that must be carefully weighed before deciding on the hole size of the screen that looks to filter it out. Continue reading → Post ID 15998
