  • Thailand’s vote buying neutralizer

Posted on June 6, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

    Vote buying neutralizer

A vote buying neutralizer certainly sounds fantastic and a bit hard to believe, particularly so for a country that suffers from it. However Thailand now has the opportunity to actually install just such a neutralizer as a direct result of the opportunities political reform offers. All things considered all Thais want this, that is except for the self serving politicians who would buy votes to get into office. Continue reading → Post ID 15053

  • Thai Government nearing Checkmate

Posted on May 21, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

The pro-Thaksin Thai Government is nearing checkmate as it struggles to survive. They have taken some serious political blows as a result of their Thaksin serving behavior. But now it all seems to come down to answering one question. If the answer is ‘YES’ the game goes on. If the answer is ‘NO’, then it is checkmate and this particular game is over. • Pheu Thai Party starts blame game

Posted on March 26, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

When someone gives you advise and you don’t take it, and an ‘I told you so’ situation is created, blaming the person who gave you the advise is totally absurd. But apparently the Pheu Thai Party (PTP) does not see it that way, and they look to place the full blame for failure on the very people that advised against proceeding. • Thai Government selectively ignoring Constitution

Posted on February 25, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

In order to force their way back into office with a potentially fatally wounded election, Thaksin’s proxy Government is selectively ignoring and selectively enforcing constitutional laws to make that happen. However this is nothing new as that simply is another one of Thaksin’s signatures. Continue reading → Post ID 15053

Glutton GovernmentThaksin’s proxy Government is showing increasing signs of concern about getting reelected if the February 2, 2014 elections are nullified. The situation and their popularity is deteriorating so quickly in their voter base, the chances of winning a majority are increasingly unlikely. Continue reading → Post ID 15053

  • Thai Election Commission withholding elections

Posted on February 6, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

Thailand’s Election Commission (EC) has made it loud and clear that the elections will not continue until disputes between the Thaksin proxy Government and the Anti-Thaksin protesters are resolved. This new twist may force Thaksin out of power as it looks to become a test of wills. Continue reading → Post ID 15053

  • Thaksin proxy Government self inflicts more wounds

Posted on January 27, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

When the Election Commission (EC) expressed concerns to the Government about the elections and that they should be delayed, the Government did its best to ignore that and look to cite various reasons why it had to move forward. Then when what the EC predicted actually happened, Caretaker Labor Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung made very public threats to the EC saying that they would be held responsible that things did not go well. Needless to say when a party list member of any political party makes threats to the EC, the threatening political party may just find themselves disqualified with a Red Card or worse for attempting to manipulate the elections by making threats to the EC.
