  • The damage Political Correctness has already caused Part 2

Posted on September 21, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

    9-11-attack-on-New-York

One of the most damaging things Political Correctness causes is complacency. Not wanting to talk about things that are negative and only talking in a positive way. It even causes people who are in touch with the real world to be labeled alarmists and ignored for the most part. The first big dose of damage cause by that Politically Correct complacency came on the morning of September 11, 2001. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • The Equal of what ISIS wants as applied to other religions

Posted on January 7, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

We have all heard that ISIS is an extremist group, and that may be true depending on what context the word extremist is taken. Islamic purist also fits the bill as an accurate description. So Connecting the Dots decided to see what that would look like if applied to a Christian based religion. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • Connecting the Dots on the true Islam

Posted on December 9, 2015 12:02 am by Richard

For the most part, many people don’t take the time to dig into things and are content with sound bites that can easily be taken out of context. We hear about ISIS and other groups in the news almost daily, and we hear words like extremists, terrorist and a few other words that have become synonymous with those groups. But the other side of the coin is those words may not be entirely accurate if you look at the entire context. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • Global conflict increasing daily

Posted on June 25, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

Long gone are the headlines that talk about small problems locally encountered. Now we hear about conflict in every corner of the globe, be it Asia, the Americas, Europe or elsewhere. There are some common themes to the violence in many places, but occasionally there is just a land grab to satisfy an ego. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

    Islamic protest

When you come right down to it cutting past all the concern about creating more Muslim riots, it seems the Muslim tabu of not talking about The Prophet Mohammad in any negative light or even depicting images of him has come head to head with other views and opinions taken straight out of the Koran. Being able to express those views and opinions is what this entry is all about. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • Stagnant religion Part 2

Posted on November 4, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

Over the centuries religion had evolved to be more civilized and less barbaric. Punishment was more a matter of protocol and physical harm was put to rest. Even some of the more extreme views of religion became more moderate. Being too aggressive simply chased people away. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • Stagnant religion Part 1

Posted on November 3, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

It most certainly seems of late there is a lot in the news about religion. Not just one religion but for the most part nearly all of them. The one common thing between them is 95% of the news is negative, bad, or down right ugly. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • More extreme Muslim behavior in news

Posted on September 27, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

It is a bit hard to say why Muslims forcing their religion onto people from other religions is in the news of late. It could be from any number of reasons stemming from more occurrences to simply being more news worthy. With the seemingly spontaneous violent and aggressive behavior of mobs citing Islam as their fuel, it becomes understandable why it may be news worthy. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

Posted on September 24, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

There is hardly a person that has not heard of the fallout from the almost burned Quran (Koran) in Florida. Riots, people dying and more in a variety of places. But this entry is not so much about that, this entry is about people’s reaction to seeing that type of behavior over something that never happened. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

  • Quran (Koran) burning provides Afghanistan reality check

Posted on September 18, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

It is amazing how one very small church in Florida that threatened to burn the Quran (Koran), provided such a very clear picture of the mental state of the Afghanistan people. It very quickly cut past what the US government would like people to believe and gave a reality check on just how tough things are. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

Posted on September 15, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

When you try to understand what fuels so many of the conflicts in the world, you seem to keep coming back to the same group in the center of the firestorm. For the most part all groups are tolerant of other groups by design, less one. Continue reading → Post ID 15928

Posted on September 12, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

Every now and again you need to invent a word to describe something. So seeing that much of politics in the news evolves around religion, Religiontics seemed an appropriate new word. So Mr. Webster please take note. Continue reading → Post ID 15928
