  • Thailand’s political problems all come down to education

Posted on December 23, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

Saying Thailand’s education system is very far below par is an understatement. It is the root cause of the political problems that have been plaguing Thailand for many years. But to say the Thai education system is the first domino in the line would be wrong. Thai political problems are both the end result and the cause, and that is the first domino in the line. • Thaksin’s revenge

Posted on February 3, 2011 12:01 am by Richard

The dots are just too suggestive for this to be anything else. The long prison term in Cambodia for two of Thaksin’s major foes just does not make sense when you step back and look at the big picture. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

  • Thai political exaggerations

Posted on January 10, 2011 12:02 am by Richard

Being passionate about one political position or the other in Thailand seems to be the new norm. However it seems all sides are wandering far from the truth to push their own agenda, and this is a recipe that will ultimately lead to disaster. Just ask any company that cooked their books and now is a former company. The truth will sooner or later catch up and the outcome will not be good. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

  • The Thaksin if then dots

Posted on December 20, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

Thanks to WikiLeaks, what was only assumed is now out in the open. That in turn provides a whole bunch of new not so far fetched predictions about what will happen if certain political makeups happen in Thailand. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

  • WikiLeaks speaks about Anti Royal Thaksin

Posted on December 15, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

It seems sooner or later everyone that is anyone will be mentioned in the WikiLeaks releases. That list includes friend and foe alike. So when it comes to Thaksin cronies and particularly the more vocal ones like Samak Sundaravej in the capacity of puppet Prime Minister, it becomes very clear where Thaksin stood. It would seem that WikiLeaks has removed any lingering doubt about Thaksin’s Anti Monarchy stance by providing all the necessary dots all in one place. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

Posted on October 12, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

Once again the cycle starts in Thailand but with a few added twists. Each time the Red Shirts come out they are more aggressive, and this time all indications are revenge seems to be running in their blood. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

Stepping back and identifying what could be described as Lèse majesté actions, we see that it is indeed a network of people each doing a different task. As each task alone does not warrant being called a Lèse majesté action, collectively they do. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

As we continue to look at how being an Alpha plays into life in Thailand, it becomes a battle of loyalty. As time and age play an ever increasing role in the status of the Monarchy, most if not all Thais dread the thought of the news that the day of change has come. Continue reading → Post ID 14572

Posted on July 1, 2010 12:01 am by Richard

Thailand’s political unrest has several facets, and by law some can not be talked about directly. But there is enough going on that it becomes necessary to address if Thailand looks to prosper or even survive in a recognizable way. Continue reading → Post ID 14572
