  • The dots leading to President Donald Trump

Posted on November 14, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

The dots leading to Donald Trump becoming President started long before he announced he was running for the office in June 2015. In fact we could say his actual journey started in Late August 2008, although he had no idea at the time as he was not directly involved. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

Posted on March 23, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

It is hard to go a day or two and not hear some news about the Syrian refugee crisis. Everybody sees the effect, but to find the cause you need to go back to political choices made by leaders in countries other than Syria. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

  • Bad boy Dictators would fear President Trump

Posted on March 11, 2016 12:02 am by Richard

    Teddy's Big Stick

There is no shortage of Bad Boy Dictators in the world who have lost respect for the United States due to one reason or another. There is no doubt publically displayed political correctness has played a part in that perception of weakness as well as a very public fear of military engagement by President Obama. Donald Trump would have none of that wuss nonsense. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

    Re-Do

Every now and then a politician gets a reality check that is 100% opposite of their policy. In the case of a political promise to withdraw from the conflict in Iraq, it seems the overruled Generals did know exactly what they were talking about. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

  • Obama’s common sense irks Republicans

Posted on February 21, 2013 12:01 am by Richard

When you come right down to it and take a look at the ideas and approaches President Obama is striving for, you may note a sense of familiarity in his thinking. For the most part when people can remove emotional influence from their decision making process, what remains is simply common sense. However it seems for the Republican’s they are ignoring common sense and sticking to an increasingly obsolete operators manual that should have been replaced at the turn of the century. Posted on January 29, 2013 12:02 am by Richard

    North Korea leadership

it was hard not to raise an eyebrow when nuclear threats from North Korea were specifically focused on the United States. If there were any doubts about the mental state of the North Korean leadership, those doubts have now been replaced with a desire to make a preemptive strike to stop this self fed phobic leadership from acting on a perceived threat. In the 2012 US general election that selected the next President for the next four years, the real winner was never named at any point along the way. The winner was not selected by popularity or policy, the winner was simply selected by common sense. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

Connecting the Dots has said right along that the price of oil is a significant factor in the health of the US economy. The fact that this is the first time the US government has finally admitted how vulnerable the US is to the price of oil is the real story. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

Posted on December 5, 2010 12:01 am by Richard

Thanks to WikiLeaks, the true colors of Afghanistan are now showing. What the leaked documents show is that very clearly US political ambitions of a military pullout are only paper dreams that will take a decade or more to be realized. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

Posted on November 24, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

fixing the US economy requires a good hard look at what is going on. The first thing that needs to be seen is that the parameters of the game have changed, and therefore the old fix will no longer work. But when you listen to the Republican party, it seems they have not noticed that the fix they want is actually now toxic because things have evolved. Continue reading → Post ID 15991

Posted on October 27, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

American voter amnesia is not as bad as a goldfish, but it does seem at least at the moment some have forgotten who got the country into the mess it is in. Aside from the distracting motivational hype from the Tea Party movement, it seems the horse may be about to run back into the burning barn. Continue reading → Post ID 15991
