  • Pheu Thai Party starts blame game

Posted on March 26, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

When someone gives you advise and you don’t take it, and an ‘I told you so’ situation is created, blaming the person who gave you the advise is totally absurd. But apparently the Pheu Thai Party (PTP) does not see it that way, and they look to place the full blame for failure on the very people that advised against proceeding. • Thai Government murder charges comparison

Posted on February 28, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

It seems both the present Thai Government and the previous Thai Government are facing nearly identical murder charges for deaths during protest dispersal. There is one significant difference and that is one action was court endorsed, and the other went against a court ruling. Continue reading → Post ID 14901

  • Thaksin proxy Government crumbling

Posted on February 11, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

It is fairly clear to any casual onlooker that the Thai Government is in trouble. The behaviors seen are consistent with other Governments just before they collapsed. The behaviors include blatant and obvious lies and what appears to be fighting over scraps in an effort to hold on to it’s last bit of dignity. Continue reading → Post ID 14901

  • Thaksin proxy Government risks biting the hand that feeds

Posted on February 10, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

It seems that when a populist policy goes bad, the damage to the Government is in direct per portion to the money involved. So in the case where 130 Billion Baht (4.3 Billion USD) is involved, it stings a lot. In this case the demographic population of Thailand that elected the Pro-Thaksin government is now a major victim of Thaksin sponsored corruption, and because of that their eyes have been opened by their empty wallets and their empty stomachs. • Thaksin proxy Government trying to justify State of Emergency

Posted on January 28, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

In what is looking more and more like a completely staged situation, Thaksin’s proxy Government is doing it’s best to convince people the peaceful Thai protesters are violent. Adding to that the strong evidence the violence was sanctioned by Thaksin to justify calling a State of Emergency, you begin to see another one of Thaksin’s signature moves of creating a condition to justify the means. Posted on January 22, 2014 12:02 am by Richard

With failed attempts to induce violence, The Thai Government has issued a State of Emergency decree citing violence as the reason. After your eyes have recovered and rolled back out of your head, please read on. Continue reading → Post ID 14901

Posted on September 8, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

An interesting set of events are rapidly unfolding in Thailand. But when you step back and look at the common focal point, it all comes back to a make-over for Thaksin, and there is more than one reason for that. Continue reading → Post ID 14901

Posted on August 3, 2010 12:00 am by Richard

It would seem that one of the tactics or at least one of the side effects of the State of Emergency is running down the clock to the next scheduled elections. With that thought, it seems the pro Thaksin camp is getting a bit restless. Continue reading → Post ID 14901

  • Thai ‘State of Emergency’ mixed bag of views

Posted on July 12, 2010 12:02 am by Richard

State of Emergency (SOE) is one of those panic phrases that is right up there with ‘Shark’ or ‘Fire’! But when it comes to Thailand’s present SOE, there are more people welcoming it than one would imagine, and we are not talking about the government who imposed it. Continue reading → Post ID 14901
